Following news of the revolt in LC, Mackenzie decides to quickly incite a revolt. A force of 1000 untrained, inexperienced men, mostly farmers of American origin, occupy Montgomery’s Tavern on Yonge Street in Toronto. They planned to attack Family Compact’s properties, although they are very uncoordinated.
