The Pequot War was a war fought between the Pequot Tribe and New England colonists. The war was brutal and lasted 11 months due to the Pequot tribes incredibly sophisticated war strategy and techniques, given they had no firearms and the colonists did. The colonists enslaved women and children after winning battles and eventually won the war.
