Descripción:

The Louisiana purchase doubled the size of America when the land was purchased from France in 1803.
Cause- France was in need for money at the time, so Napolean sold it to America for a cheap price
Impact- This helped the idea for the Manifest Destiny, the justification for westward expansion.
