Descripción:

Conflict between Mexico and America under the Polk administration which eventually led to American victory.

Causes
Mexican government were outraged by the annexation of Texas into America which lead them to war.

Impact
1) Led to the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo
which Mexico gives up all claims to Texas above Rio
Grande and ceded California.
