Intolerable Acts (1 mar 1774 año – 1 jun 1774 año)
Descripción:
 Parliament decided to punish the Bostonians for the Boston Tea Party. It passed laws called the Coercive Acts. In the colonies, these laws soon became known as the Intolerable Acts. The Intolerable Acts were a set of 5 acts or laws. 
 1. Boston Port Act
	Closed the Boston Harbor
	Fined the colonists for the tea they threw in 
              the water
2. Massachusetts Government Act
	Regulating the government of 
              Massachusetts Bay
3. Administration of Justice Act
	Allowed the government to move trials 
              against government officials
	Colonists felt that this act gave too much 
              protection to government
	Witnesses would have to travel all the way 
                to Britain to testify
4. Quartering Act
	Passed in 1774 expanded on the original act 
          of 1765
	Designed to provide shelter for the British 
             troops
5. Quebec Act
	British gave land to the French in 
               Quebec that the American colonists 
                clearly wanted
        A law that said the Roman Catholic Church 
                 is the #1 church in Quebec
