Descripción:

During this time the northern kingdom was divided between two factions. One supported Omri, whom the army had made king. The other supported a man named Tibni. Tibni is not given in the timeline as he never was king. After 4 years of struggles he was killed and Omri was made king over all the people.

Note: there are those that believe this period is not part of Omri's reign, and there is some indication of this. However, when all the dates given are taken into account it is clear that these years were part of his twelve year reign.
