Descripción:

While Stephen F. Austin was jailed, people in Texas were upset by the taxes still collected by the Mexican government. William B. Travis led a protest and the Mexican general in charge of the army in Texas wanted to arrest Travis and others. Texans held a meeting to discuss the imminent invasion of Texas by the Mexican looking for Travis and the others. By that time Stephen Austin was released from jail and arrived to Texas. After learning of the situation he advised every man in Texas to prepare for war.
