Cuban Missile Crisis (22 oct 1962 año – 4 nov 1962 año)
Descripción:
The Soviet Union installs nuclear-armed missiles in Cuba, 90 miles from U.S. shores. This caused the most tense period during the Cold war, as people feared that the world was on the brink of nuclear warfare. This event is mostly related to the concepts of brinkmanship and MAD, because a dangerous event was pushed to the edge during active conflict. People also predicted that this event could cause the destruction of both the U.S. and the Soviet Union if a nuclear war was initiated.
