Descripción:

He formulated the heliocentric model which revoked Ptolemy's geocentric model. He went against the bible's readings and believed the sun was in the center of the universe, not the earth. He also proposed that the earth rotated on its axis. He planted a platform for other scientists to present their findings to the public. Being the first the popularly contradict Ptolemy, he sparked a huge shift in scientists/philosophers starting to question ancient ways of thinking.
