Coercive (Intollerable) Acts (1 mar 1774 año – 1 jun 1774 año)
Descripción:
This act did a lot of things. It closed the port of Boston, reconstructed the Massachusetts government, restricts town meetings, troops were quartered in Boston, and British officials who were accused of crime were sent to England or Canada in order to be tried in court. This led to the boycott of British goods, but it helped assemble the first continental congress.
