The French and Indian War is also known as the Seven Year War. In this war, France and Britain fought each other and alongside their own native American alliances because both countries were both looking on expanding their territory. The colonists were fighting alongside Britain, their mother country, in order to win new land. The war ended in 1763 with the victory of Britain, but the joy was short-lived when King George III found out that Britain was in great debt after the war and need a way to pay them off: taxes.Añadido al timeline:
