Another great day. Today Logen slept in, and then we went out and got an Easter basket for her friend Keana. We also gave her a "loan" for her day at Disney tomorrow and had her sign loan documents and everything, using it as a teaching tool of how loans work. She was really excited about it and thanked us saying "I feel so ahead of everyone else now because I understand how loans work". She felt really grown up signing her "loan documents". We went to a movie together that we both loved and bonded over, and then I drove her to her friend's house and dropped her off for a sleepover and then Disney tomorrow. Logen was really loving to Marilynn, telling her she loved her. Marilynn helped her with makeup stuff and she seemed pretty excited about it.
Also on the way to her friend's house we talked about how I'm going to ask her mom to swap weekends with me again since she hasn't responded. This weekend was my 5th weekend and next weekend is mine too but I offered to let her have my weekend if she offered one of her weekends for me to swap. Logen asked why I was telling her that, and I told her it was in case it was brought up to her, she already has heard my side and understands that my motive is that our time together is really important to me and I don't want to just give it up without asking for a swap of time. I want her to know that I don't give my time up with her easily and that I miss her when we aren't together and don't want to have to go 2 weeks without seeing her if I don't have to. I also told her that my intention is not to fight and will be as nice about it as possible.
