The parent teacher conferences were supposed to happen tonight but Trip realized he had no idea where to go for it, so he had me (Marilynn) go on the website to see if there was any information. I found an announcement that the conferences were rescheduled for April 11th. We agreed that there had to have been some communication to parents about this switch that he never got. He was on the road going from meeting to meeting so he had me call the school to find out if there was communication and if so, why he didnt' get it.
I spoke with Maria who told me that there was a voicemail and an email that went out yesterday but Trip didn't get anything. She went in to Logen's file in their system and sure enough only Melissa's email, phone number and address are in the system. Maria took Trip's phone number, email and our home address to add to the system. She had to submit it to someone to add it.
To my knowledge Trip gave this same information to someone at the front office in the fall but it never was updated. He has finally gained access to the parent portals, but that didn't fix the lack of communication from the school.
