Was an Irish-born French-based architect and furniture designer and a pioneer of the Modern Movement in architecture. In his work, modernist and Art Deco ideals can be clearly seen. Undoubtedly, the gender factor must have hindered its visualization since Eileen Gray had to find a place in a world that was mainly of men. Undoubtedly we are in front of a great artist who kept and sought his own independence. Despite not enjoying great recognition throughout her professional career, she is currently considered one of the most important architects and furniture designers in the history of art.
