Disorder in the Roman Republic (1 ene 79 año aC – 21 h 7 m, 6 sept 70 año aC)
Descripción:
It is said that Rome in the 70's B.C. was a dangerous place. Many politicians and generals went to war to increase their power even as political order broke down in Rome. Some Romans tried to stop the chaos in Rome such as Cicero. Cicero was a philosopher and a gifted orator, or public speaker. In his speeches he would call upon Rome's upper class to come together to try and make Rome a better place. He had plans such as giving the generals a limit to power. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful and was later killed by a group of senators led by Brutus due to them fearing him becoming king.
