Discovered every atom has electrons outside the nucleus. This was discovered through a series of experiments designed to study the nature of electric discharge in a high-vacuum cathode-ray tube. Electrically charged plates and magnets as the evidence of "bodies smaller than regular atoms. This helped him discover electrons and how they are in all atoms.
