The Battle of Little Bighorn (AKA “Custer’s Last stand”) occurred in 1876. The U.S Cavalry was forcing the Indians off their own land, thus leading the Cavalry and the Indians to battle. In the end the Indians won the Battle of Little Bighorn because they largely outnumbered the U.S Cavalry.
