The Dieppe Raid was an auusult by the Allies on the German occupied port located in Dieppe France. Canadians made up the majority of the attackers. Nearly 5,000 of the 6,100 troops were Canadians. The remaining troops consisted of only a few British Commandos and only 50 American Rangers.
