After the war, China had become a world power and had time to develop newer technology and began Nuclear technology before anyone else had (Shortly followed by France). Food was plentiful and so was technology. China began work on new weapons and vehicles and continued to build it's industry and infrastructure.

The age of prosperity also saw many American immigrants coming in to work for research and development.
