Descripción:

字子才，吴兴郡长城县（今浙江长兴）人，南陈宗室大臣，陈宣帝陈顼十二子，母袁昭容。
太建七年（575年），封晋熙郡王，南陈时期历任扬州刺史、江州刺史、湘州刺史等职，隋朝伐陈，陈叔文献湘州出降，南陈灭亡，隋文帝杨坚任命陈叔文为开府、宜州刺史。
