- asks Hindenburg to suspend the Reichstag and form a dictatorship
- Hindenburg refuses

- But, von Papen informs Hindenburg that Schleicher planning to take power anyway to take power anyway with the army in a military coup

- Hindenburg does not want this and gets scared and takes advice from von Papen

- Papen proposes to remove Schleicher, appoint Hitler and have von Papen as vice-chancellor
