Support for Farmers (1 abr 1935 año – 1 jul 1940 año)
Descripción:
Congress passes the Soil Conservation and Domestic Allotment Act in early 1936 to reward farmers for cutting the production of soil depleting crops and practicing good soil conservation methods. They also approved a second Agricultural Adjustment Act to bring back features of the AAA which was recently cut. The Second New Deal also helped sharecroppers, poor farmers, and provided loans to small farmers to buy land. In 1937, the agency was replaced by the FSA which also provided support for tenant farmers and established camps for migrant workers.
