Black lives matter is a movement that was founded in 2013. This movement was made after Gorge Zimmermans charges of shooting and killing Trayvon Matrin was dropped. The movement grew when other innocent black people were killed by the police, for example Michael Brown and Eric Garner. Black Lives Matters aims to stop violence and racism against black people. They organized protests and worked for changes to laws about the police and justice. In 2020, the movement got more attention when Gorge Floyd was killed by a policeman. This lead to more demonstrations in the USA and other places in the world.
