The Simon Commission (1 ene 1927 año – 1 ene 1927 año)
Descripción:
The British appointed a commission to outline administrative reforms in India, named after it's head, Sir John Simon. The Congress and League protested this as not a single member in the commission was Indian. When The commission arrived in India they were welcomed by Black flags with slogan "Simon go back." In Lahore, Lala Lajpat Rai was badly wounded by lathi-charge while leading a peaceful demonstration and died soon after.
