Bar Kokhba Revolt (1 ene 132 año – 1 sept 136 año)
Descripción:
Simon Bar Kokhba led the Bar Kokhba Revolt, the final and bloodiest Jewish rebellion against the Roman Empire, which occurred in 132–136 CE. The Jews successfully established their own state for around three years. But the rebellion was brutally put down by the Romans, led by Emperor Hadrian, who destroyed Judea and killed hundreds of thousands of Jews. When Jews were expelled from Jerusalem (Aelia Capitolina) and Judaism was severely limited, the history of the Jewish dispersion was drastically altered.
