The Saphrix Dynasty was restored as the most powerful dynasty in Iorádh in the year 6220 P.A, when Gorwynn 'the Restorer' crowned himself Arsynérix at a grand ceremony in Brythas Dynas, having triumphed in the Sapphire Wars and seized most of western Iorádh.

The Saphrix would go on to gradually recover from their losses, eventually reunifying Iorádh within Gorwynn's lifetime. Having been the only dynasty in Iorádhine history to reclaim the Iorináreth after it was lost, the Saphrix enjoyed a great deal of legitimacy after Gorwynn's restoration.

To differentiate between the current Iorináreth and the pre-collapse one - both of which are called the 7th Iorináreth - the current Saphrix Dynasty is sometimes referred to as the "Neo-Saphrix", "Restored Saphrix", or "Second Saphrix" Dynasty.
