Descripción:
The Dark Ages is a period in Greek society following the end of the Mycenaean Empire and is characterised by population decline, loss of the Linear B writing system, lack of art, wealth and writing as well as the collapse of trade networks leading to an economic decline. However, oral traditions had preserved culture during the Dark Ages, reintroduced the tradition of writing using the Phoenician alphabet and the notion of city-state which built foundation for the future periods.
