Descripción:

King Louis XIV, known as the Sun King, as an absolute monarch who built a palace at Versaille and moved his court there. Prominent nobles all established residences at Versaile and King Louis provided them with luxurious accomodations in exchange for his own absolute rule. He controlled a large standing army, supported the establishmeny of new industries, built roads and canals, abolished internal tarrifs, and promoted exports.
