William Ramsay (1 ene 1894 año – 1 ene 1894 año)
Descripción:
Content & Description : William Ramsay, a Scottish chemist, played a pivotal role in the development of the periodic table through his discovery of the noble gases. In collaboration with Lord Rayleigh, Ramsay isolated argon from atmospheric nitrogen in 1894. This discovery led to further investigations, and Ramsay went on to discover the other noble gases: helium, neon, krypton, and xenon.
Importance: The noble gases were a significant addition to the periodic table. They were a new group of elements that were chemically inert and had unique properties. The inclusion of these elements helped to complete the picture of the periodic system and provided a more accurate understanding of the arrangement of elements.
