The Great Iron Trade (17 jun 120 año aC – 5 oct 148 año)

Descripción:

Trade began between the Iopan and Aktoved peoples for iron as the Aktoveds had large supplies of iron and the Iopans needed them for their wars against the Haban people. This trade eventually established the Iron Route which has persisted as a navigable road in Modern times. However, as the Iopans needed more and more iron for weapons and armor, the less the Aktoved people could produce as supplies of smelted iron had began to run out, leading to more raw iron being brought into the trade network. Raw iron was more costly for the buyer to trade for as they first had to transport the raw iron, trade for it, bring it back to a blacksmith, and then smelt and shape it. So, instead of trading for more raw iron, the Iopons began to attack the Aktoved peoples in order to fully obtain control over the iron mines.
