Prophecy of Josiah (24 nov 975 año aC – 22 oct 632 año aC)

Descripción:

This was the prophecy by a Man of God who was sent from Judah to Bethel (in the north) to talk of the destruction of the false worship set up by Jereboam.

cp 1 Kings 12/25-33 Establishment of false worship in Bethel and Dan (2 golden calves - "...these be thy gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt".

in the 15th day of the eighth month 15th Heshvan (Bul)

1 Kings 13/2 Josiah prophesied of...

11 Chron 34/3-5 Josiah's restoration in his 8th year of reign (age 16)

Note: I do not have a date from scripture of the time of the destruction of the alters and burning of the priests bones, except it be in the eighth year of Josiah's reign.
I have, for nothing more than coincidences sake placed the destruction on the same day as the dedication of these alters and worship.

Although Josiah did not yet have a copy of the book of the law, he would most likely have had a copy of the "Chronicles of the Kings" up until that point in which the record of this worship was established and recorded. Poetic justice 'demands' the destruction on the same day!
