Wetzlerian Era (10 feb 428 año aC – 22 mayo 323 año aC)

The 2nd & final age of the Ancient Athenian empire.
Led by Jar-appointed (and former general) emperor Jakezler "Reformant Chief" Wetzler, the empire picked itself back up.

The era started off tense with Athens still in the middle of an all-out war between Sparta and their former ally, Epirus. The Athenian army tried their hardest to keep the opposing forces back while advancing on new territory, but to no avail.
Wetzler was eventually able to convince the states of Crete & Thessaly to form an alliance and aid them in the war. This alliance eventually succeeded in their goal of destroying Sparta and whittling Epirus down to practically nothing.
The aftermath of the war strengthened the bond between the 3 nations, with Athens allowing Thessaly to take nearly all of Northern Greece & Crete getting aided in its taking of little islands around Peloponnesia.
It all came to an end when Alexander the Great took his Macedonian troops down to conquer Greece in the 320's BC. Thessaly & Crete were taken by force, but Athens (still under control of Wetzler) surrendered "as a puppet state" to Macedonia as a promise that no more soldiers or civilians will die.
