The United States enters World War II with the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7th, which pulled the US into WWII, and gave the US a reason to join the fight in Europe, while also fighting the Japanese in Pacific. It ends with the Japanese surrender on the USS Missouri, and signals the end of the second and last world war.
