Limit President to one term (1 agos 1951 año – 1 agos 1951 año)
Descripción:
The Omaha Platform suggested a constitutional change limiting the President and Vice-President to serving only one term. It also proposed that Senators be elected directly by the public. Later, in 1951, the 22nd Amendment was added to the Constitution. This Amendment restricted the President to serving only two terms. It was implemented to resolve the controversy over Franklin Roosevelt's four presidential terms.
