The First Continental Congress met in Carpenters' Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Delegates from twelve of the thirteen colonies met to discuss America's future under British aggression. The Continental Congress was very important in America's independence. They were also very important in the future. They helped run the country in the future.
