The Indo-Greek Yoke (13 ene 180 año aC – 1 ene 40 año aC)
Descripción:
After the removal of the current Seleucid king, the Seleucid Empire was divided between the Bactrians in north-central Asia and the Indo-Greeks in Pakistan and western Punjab. As a result, the Selaiki court and chieftains were split, but Selga became a province of the Indo-Greek kingdom due to having a more lenient ethnic customs. This allowed the Selaiki Culture to spread to India and brought them into contact with Buddhism. The Selaiki experienced a cultural renaissance around mid-90 BC.
