Armit Phase 3 (pre Roman) (28 jun 200 año aC – 3 jul 80 año)
Descripción:
further change. It is in this period that we can see the emergence of societies that we can begi to compare with the celtic stereotype.. These people mostly spoke celtic languages and had adopted la tene art stles of continental origin. Their leaders again adhered to a warrior ideology and supported specialist craft workers trained in a cosmopolitan style. This Celtic cultural milieu seems to reflect a priod of powerful leadership and relatively stable social conditions, the latter reflected by undefended settlements in the souyth and east and tightly knit broch villages in the far north…yet society had not come full circle. Evidence remains of tribalism and deep cultural divisions; warfre feuding and raiding were probably still rife, particularly around the fringes of tribal territories.
