Jean - Jaques Rousseau (1 ene 1712 año – 1 ene 1778 año)
Descripción:
Jean - Jaques Rousseau was a French Calvinist, who grew up in Switzerland. He was born into a middle class family of watchmakers, which was wealthy enough for him to be educated. He became a writer, and wrote the Social Contract. His book talked about how the government it there to do the will of the people, and that it should listen to what the people want and do what the majority want. He also believed that everyone except women should be educated so that they can talk about laws and ideas logically. He was frenemies with Voltaire, because even though he admired Voltaire, both didn't like each other's writings, which formed a form of mutual respect between the two.
