Mary Wollstonecraft (27 abr 1759 año – 10 sept 1797 año)
Descripción:
Mary Wollstonecraft grew up with no formal education and was mostly self taught, later becoming a teacher who worked as a governess. She wrote two books: "Thoughts of the Education of Daughters" (1707) and "A Vindication of the Rights of Women" (1792). "Thoughts of the Education of Daughters" countered the ideas of Rousseau and talked about how girls deserve equal rights. "A VIndication of the Rights of Women" expanded the ideas of her first book, also showing how women are capable individuals who do not need men and deserved representation in the government.
