Mary Wollstonecraft was an Enlightenment thinker who believed that women should have similar opportunities as men. She believed that women should be getting what the men were getting educationally, and not anything more limited. She wrote her ideas about the rights of women and what kind of education women should get in her books "Thoughts on the Education of Daughters" and "A Vindication of the Rights of Women".
