With Hitler’s support, Slovakia declared its independence from the Czech state, and later became a puppet government under Hitler and Nazi Germany. Now that the Slovaks were a puppet state, they were generally assumed to be independent but were really dependant on an outside power, beig Germany. Hitler is the puppet master manipulating “the strings,” or the political actions of the Czechs. This action of controlling done by Germany would fall into the category of political. By the Czechs becoming a puppet state, Germany was able to control many political aspects of the Czech state.
