Baron de Montesquieu (18 ene 1689 año – 10 feb 1755 año)

Descripción:

Born to a French noble family, Baron de Montesquieu spent much of his life writing books. His first notable book, pubished in 1722, was "Persian Letters," which pokes fun at French society and the king's ineffective governance. His second notable book, published in 1748, was "The Spirit of the Laws," which advocated for the separation of government power into three branches: the executive, judiciary, and parliament. These three branches very closely correlate to the United States' executive, judicial, and legislative branches respectively.
