Descripción:

After the Spanish-American war, the US won many territories from Spain. One of them was the Philipines. The Philipines were expected the US to make them an independent country after the war but they didn't. America wanted to "help" them make a democracy, and decided to slowely withdraw their control. This caused fighting in the Philipines.
