Tet Offensive (31 ene 1968 año – 23 sept 1968 año)
Descripción:
During Lunar New Year, or Tet, the North Vietnamese Army and The Viet Cong launched an attack on multiple targets in South Vietnam. The attacks were planned in hopes of achieving victory and forcing the U.S. to negotiate or withdraw from Vietnam. This was a Major turning point in the war, Not only because it showed how strong the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong were, but because it weakened the public support of the U.S., as it showed that the Johnson Administration had lied about a U.S. victory in Vietnam being close.
