Descripción:

King Joash was the son of Ahaziah and the grandson of Jehoram and Athaliah. He reigned for 40 years.
He was good in his youth because Jehoiada helped him rule, but when Jehoiada died, he turned evil. He served idols and killed a prophet when he tried to warn Joash.
"And Jehoash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all his days, because Jehoiada the priest instructed him." (2 Kings 12:2)
"And they abandoned the house of the Lord, the God of their fathers, and served the Asherim and the idols." (2 Chronicles 24:18)
a. Joash had the temple repaired.
b. After Jehoiada died, Joash was evil. When Zechariah tried to warn him, Joash killed him.
