The "Little Ice Age" (1 ene 1300 año – 1 ene 1800 año)
Descripción:
Europe experienced a colder and wetter climate, which was most pronounced in the fourteenth century. In the 1300s, frequent storms resulted in poor harvests, and scarcity and starvation followed. Almost all of northern Europe experienced a Great Famine from 1315-1322. Government responses proved inefficient. Even in non-famine years, the cost of grain, livestock, and dairy products rose sharply. Few people could buy food and were therefore more susceptible to disease.
