A coup in the Second Empire of Xə would result in the government fleeing from Pollux to Sol, setting up a capital on the Jupiter worldshell. The instigators of the coup, the Neo-Demurgians would launch an attack on the system, fighting a quick battle and conquering the planet by capturing the governor who escaped to the planet’s ancient underworld at the city of Mbandaka.
