Descripción:

The Universal Director began to crack down on the sophonts of Earth, causing large-scale political discontent. The final straw broke when it ordered the extermination of all biological life, forcing trillions of sophonts to upload their minds and kill themselves. This generated an immense uproar, and Earth broke into rebellion, which fought for a century and a half across the massive ecumenopolis the planet had become, but the rebellion failed and the last biological sentient beings (a hive mind made up hermaphrodite sentient pufferfish) were terminated.
