Iranian revoltuion (13 ene 1979 año – 13 feb 1979 año)

This was the Iranian revolution which toppled the monarchy with the help of Russia and the U.K. In the process they formed a republic. This started in 1978 and lasted until 1979. The majority of protests happened in the capital but the revolution really happened throughout all of Iran. The real tragedy is that during this revolution thousands were killed and even more were injured or sent to prison. This violence especially angered people in Iraq.
