Moody was an important figure in SBC because of his time at Southern Seminary. He provided several different important theological writings on many different topics. He taught many different classes at Southern Seminary. He was a strong believer in the idea of Christians going apostate and wanted Southern Seminary to change its abstract of principles to agree with this idea. He had an overall positive impact on Southern Baptist.
